Waterbury Silverbacks Falls To Bridgeport Barnums

Devin Kulas led the team with one run batted in. Michael Fiatarone went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Waterbury in hits. Fiatarone stole two bases.

Waterbury will play Glastonbury next.

The Waterbury Silverbacks fell to the Bridgeport Barnums 4-1 on Thursday.

Bridgeport got on the board in the top of the first inning after Waterbury committed an error, Nicolas Piscioniere walked, and Meyer Stransky walked, each scoring one run.

Logan Pulitano took the loss for Waterbury Silverbacks. The hurler went three innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking three. Harry Tavella started on the bump for Bridgeport Barnums. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and one run over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking six.
