Waterbury Silverbacks Fall To Weston Barons

The Waterbury Silverbacks lost to the Weston Barons 5-2 on Monday.

The Silverbacks were the first to get on the board in the first when Devin Kulas drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Barons tied the game at one in the top of the second with a single down the left field line. They then took the lead, 4-1, in the top of the fifth after three hits and a walk.

Kevin Cestari led things off on the mound for Waterbury Silverbacks. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking none.

Zach Drewry, Colin Gevry, Pierce Cowles, and Joseph Fasano each collected one hit for Waterbury Silverbacks. Fasano and Kulas were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Waterbury Silverbacks.
