Waterbury Silverbacks Defeat Riptide On Multiple Hit Performance By Mike Siano

Logan Pulitano earned the win for Waterbury. The starter allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out three and walking two. Gabe Baber threw one inning of no-run ball for Waterbury Silverbacks in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
Michael Fiatarone had another solid day as he collected two hits for Waterbury Silverbacks in three at bats.
Mike Siano collected three hits in three at bats, as the Waterbury Silverbacks defeated the Meriden Riptide 6-1 on Wednesday. Siano singled in the sixth inning, singled in the first inning, and doubled in the fourth inning.
Waterbury got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Joseph Fasano hit a sacrifice fly, Zach Drewry singled down the left field line, Siano singled down the left field line, and Kirk Ortega singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
