Waterbury Silverbacks and Hamden Miners tied 1-1 on Friday.

An error put Waterbury Silverbacks on the board in the top of the fifth.

Hamden’s Mike Desroches grounded into a fielder's choice, which helped the Miners tie the game at one in the bottom of the fifth.

Casey Sexton stepped on the mound first for the Waterbury Silverbacks. The starter surrendered three hits and one run over six innings, striking out none and walking one.

Joseph Fasano and David Braun each collected two hits for Waterbury. The Silverbacks turned two double plays in the game. Waterbury Silverbacks were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Zach Redlund had the most chances in the field with 12.
