Isquith, Perez Play Their Way to Player of the Week Honors
7/5/20261 min read

In four games during the week of June 29 to July 3, one player on the mound and one player at the plate stood out for the Silverbacks. Junior starting pitcher Bryce Isquith and freshman infielder Miles Perez each put up big numbers for Waterbury.
In a loss vs. West Haven, Isquith delivered a quality start with four innings, allowing two earned runs and only walking two. The 3.50 ERA qualified for the best on the team for the week.
Miles Perez was a force to be reckoned with while in the batter’s box. He went 3/4 on the week while walking three times and scoring twice. His slash line finished at a ridiculous .750/.857/.750 in four games.
Waterbury will be leaning on their two stars as they prepare for four games, three of which are road matchups, this upcoming week.
