Waterbury Silverbacks tied the game in the top of the sixth thanks to a walk by Pierce Cowles, a walk by Michael Fiatarone, and a double by Siano.
Casey Sexton stepped on the mound first for the Waterbury Silverbacks. The hurler gave up four hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking one.
Siano led Waterbury Silverbacks with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Cowles set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading the Waterbury Silverbacks with two hits in two at bats. Waterbury Silverbacks had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. The Waterbury Silverbacks turned one double play in the game.
The Waterbury Silverbacks and the Hamden Miners tied 6-6 on Sunday.
Waterbury Silverbacks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ben Stewart was struck by a pitch, and Mike Siano hit into a double play, each scoring one run.
Hamden captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the third when a wild pitch scored one run, and after Hamden got a single, scoring two runs.
